Alinity Divine
Alinity appeared in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch user from California has filed a civil suit demanding damages in the amount of $25 million from Twitch for exposing them to "overly sexually suggestive content by female streamers" when they logged on to the website. Dexerto obtained court papers showing that the person who had previously filed a lawsuit against Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard and Blizzard had made a formal complaint June 15. Twitch received an official summons by the court on 19th of June. The complaint states that, according to it which was filed at the Santa Clara Superior Court of California, Estavillo suffers from multiple medical issues that make him to rely entirely on the internet for all of his entertainment, as well as being afflicted with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OC addiction, which according to the complaint Twitch just makes more difficult. They also listed a few female Twitch streamers, claiming that they "continue to expose viewers to sexually addictive content and videos on a regular as well as consistent daily basis." Alinity does not appear on the list. The complaint demands each of these streamers to be removed permanently from Twitch because they violated the TOS. Additionally, it wants to pay to receive $25 million in damages, which would "be divided equally between the plaintiff, other Twitch Turbo Subscribers, and the remaining funds."
